You see a racing set-up on the outside and a sporty passenger compartment inside, but it’s when you grip the flat-bottom racing steering wheel that you really understand what the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde is all about. Four-cylinder engine with aluminium engine block and twin exhaust tailpipe: a car that is instantly identifiable by its rounded, all-encompassing roar.
0 - 100KM/H
The Giulietta QV is distinguished by a lower planted stance typical of a true sports car and by the legendary 'Quadrifoglio Verde' emblem located on the side panel. The car's aggressive look is highlighted by bi-xenon headlights with dark finish, large diameter twin exhaust tailpipes and 18-inch alloy wheels that house the red Brembo 4-piston braking system.
Attention was paid to details and high quality materials were chosen to represent the ultimate expression of Italian style. On the Giulietta QV TCT, the black sports arrangement stands out and is further enhanced by the new leather and Alcantara trim wraparound sports seats with built-in head restraints, the new flat bottom steering wheel, gear lever boot and handbrake all finished in leather with contrast stitching. Aluminium sport pedals, specific kick plate with QV logo, black roof lining and special mats complete the new version's interior.
The Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde TCT inherits the engine of the Alfa Romeo 4C. A 1,750 4-cylinder aluminium turbocharged unit that delivers 177 kW at 5,750 rpm and 340 Nm at 2,000 rpm. Thanks to a 22 kg weight reduction, achieved by using lightweight aluminium, and combination with the Alfa TCT automatic transmission, this power unit allows the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.0 seconds.
The Alfa TCT offers continuous torque delivery without power loss during shifts, which become faster and more direct, translating into an even more intense driving sensation. But that’s not all, this transmission can also select automatic or sequential mode according to whether a more comfortable or sportier drive is preferred: in both cases the Alfa TCT offers great driving comfort and optimizes engine efficiency.
Another special feature of the Alfa TCT is the Launch Control system. Launch Control is activated by pressing the brake pedal while pushing the accelerator pedal all the way down and squeezing the paddle on the left of the steering wheel. As soon as you release the brake, the system automatically controls the gearbox, traction and power to maximize acceleration. With Launch Control, the Giulietta QV TCT can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.0 seconds.
A badge, a symbol, a good luck charm: since 1923, the year when driver Ugo Sivocci painted a white square with a green four leaf clover on his Alfa Romeo RL, the four leaf clover icon has been present on every racing Alfa Romeo. The Quadrifoglio has evolved in style and content: today it is the symbol of the most advanced automotive engineering, capable of combining advanced technology and responsible performance with Alfa Romeo driving satisfaction.
